I loved getting to know Kristin better through your interview. She really is as sweet as I thought she want. She is smart and always willing to help. I enjoy working with her. I share her love of Spode.

Hi Matt! Thanks for the comment. I'll check out the tip about changing default save locations-- that's a handy feature to have. Thank you for that tip!

Brian,

Good stuff. Being on Mac for a lot of years it has been nice to see the new additions. I remember the "Caps lock" key used to be a modifier also, but that seems to have gone away. I also have Snapz Pro to capture really cool stuff... movies, etc. I am using Win 7 more now (not more than Mac, just more), and it's nice to find out about snipping tool. Is that in "Accessories"? I read a good how to tip about a month ago on Twitter about changing the default Save location for all the Picture 1, 2, 3 PNG files on your desktop. This is a nice post though... shortcut articles always catch my eye! I hope to meet you one of these days. Oh, and your byline on this post is a by_byline. Or, it was 'til you fixed it!

The analogy you used to get illustrate your point about white space is so true. When the employees at my work moved into new office spaces a few years back, my office mate and I got the largest office with the most natural sunlight. For awhile there I felt like I was the "big cheese!"

Good basic article! Thanks :-)

Hello! Thank you for your kind words about my article. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It appeared on my blog, "Printing Disasters—and How to Avoid Them."

As I was leaving the first advertising agency I worked for, a senior writer gave me this piece of advice: "Remember, it's not WHERE you work, it's HOW you work, because you will see us all and work with again." So true...

Best wishes to you in your endeavors, ~Nani
